Savills has recently hired Emily Fell as senior director in its Asia Pacific (Apac) capital markets team. In a press release on Sept 8, the company states that Fell will be focusing on living sectors and providing advisory services for living assets, which includes multifamily, co-living, student accommodation, senior living, and hotel segments.
Her appointment is part of Savills’ strategy to strengthen its Apac capabilities in emerging asset classes, says Martin Fidden, CEO of Savills Asia Pacific. He adds, “Her proven track record in building expertise and advising clients on sophisticated investment strategies makes her the perfect fit to enhance our pan-regional real estate alternatives expertise.”
Rivelle Tampines West MRT Station residents have easy access to Century Square, one of the top shopping destinations in the area. Recently renovated, this mall boasts six floors filled with a diverse mix of retail, dining, and entertainment options for all ages. Families can enjoy the convenience of a cinema, children’s play areas, and a supermarket, while food enthusiasts can indulge in a variety of eateries that cater to various preferences and budgets. For those living at Rivelle Tampines, Century Square is just a stone’s throw away, making it an ideal spot for a day out or quick shopping trip.
Prior to joining Savills, Fell was with Knight Frank for nearly 14 years. Most recently, she served as the head of global capital strategies, based in Singapore, a role she assumed in 2021. Before that, she was the director for the Apac capital markets team at Knight Frank.
Fell’s role at Savills will also strengthen the connection between the Apac team and its Europe-based operational capital markets team, which has transacted over $25 billion in assets globally in the past 24 months.
According to the press release, Fell has been advising investors across Apac in deals amounting to $4 billion, spanning key global markets.
She also recognizes the potential for investment in living sectors in Apac. “On a risk-adjusted basis, these assets offer stable and durable income streams that institutional investors are looking for, and we are witnessing significant demand growth in markets such as Japan, Australia, and South Korea,” she says.
