Since its preview on Sept 26, the upcoming condominium Skye at Holland has generated strong interest among buyers, with the consortium behind the project collecting 2,151 cheques as expressions of interest by Oct 8. Three-bedroom units, measuring between 915 sq ft and 1,076 sq ft, make up 22% of the project (148 units) and start from $2.4 million ($2,623 psf).The last time a project saw such high demand was during the launch of Emerald of Katong in November 2019. Located in District 15 in the Rest of Central Region (RCR), the 846-unit project collected a whopping 3,629 expressions of interest, resulting in a 4.3 times oversubscription. During the launch weekend, 835 units (98.7%) were sold at an average price of $2,621 psf.A similar trend was seen at ParkTown Residence earlier this year. The integrated development, located in Tampines North, was launched in February, with developers UOL Group and CapitaLand Development selling 1,041 out of 1,193 units (over 87%) at an average price of $2,360 psf. Prior to its launch, the developers received 2,367 cheques for expressions of interest.
