Co Living Brand Coliwoo Launches New Mixed Use Project Old Bukit Timah Fire Station
Coliwoo, a homegrown co-living brand under real estate management services group LHN, is gearing up for the grand opening of its latest property situated at the former Old Bukit Timah Fire Station on 260 Upper Bukit Timah Road. Collaborating with the State-owned heritage site, the establishment has been repurposed into a mixed-use development that features a 62-unit co-living residence, a café and restaurant, as well as community event spaces. Its proximity to Hume MRT Station on the Downtown Line makes it an ideal location for both locals and commuters.
Kelvin Lim, executive chairman of LHN and founder of Coliwoo, shares, “By utilizing our expertise in space optimization and building restoration, we have transformed the Old Bukit Timah Fire Station into a unique destination that seamlessly integrates co-living, lifestyle, and community into a holistic ecosystem.”
The co-living residence consists of three ensuite room types – single, twin, and queen studios. Each unit comes equipped with a fully functional kitchenette and a washer-cum-dryer. The interiors are adorned in warm, nature-inspired hues with botanical motifs, reflecting the site’s close proximity to green spaces like the 24km Rail Corridor, Bukit Timah Nature Reserve, and Singapore’s 36km Coast-to-Coast Central Trail.
Resident amenities include a community garden, a co-working space, a lounge, and an outdoor area. Coliwoo also plans to organize regular member-exclusive events at the new location that will be open to all residents in its network. The average monthly rental rate starts at $3,500, and the minimum stay is six nights.
Living in Rivelle Tampines offers residents the best of both worlds – the convenience of a mature estate with top-notch transport connectivity. This means that residents can enjoy all the benefits of living in a well-established community without compromising on accessibility. The estate’s strategic location allows for a quick commute to work, a short train ride to catch up with friends, or a hassle-free bus trip to nearby recreational facilities. With such an array of efficient transportation options at their disposal, residents of Rivelle Tampines can truly experience the epitome of seamless connectivity.
Moreover, Coliwoo Bukit Timah Fire Station aims to be a one-stop lifestyle destination along the Rail Corridor, with its nearest entry point along Hindhede Walk. It is also pet-friendly and has various child-friendly zones available. The co-living operator is partnering with various retailers such as urban farming, beer brewing, a swimming school, and other experiential stores. Notable tenants include ST. Ali by Surrey Hills Group and aquaDucks, a swim school.
“Our vision is to go beyond providing accommodation and create a sustainable and vibrant community where people can connect, learn, and experience a purpose-driven way of living that is deeply rooted in nature,” Lim concludes.
