Former Jll Apac Ceo Anthony Couse Joins Elevate Capital Partner

Elevate Capital Group has announced the addition of Anthony Couse as a partner, according to a press release on September 8. Couse, who previously served as the CEO for Asia Pacific (Apac) at JLL, will be working with Elevate’s founder and managing partner Ashish Manchharam. Together, they plan to accelerate the firm’s growth by focusing on expanding investor partnerships, increasing acquisitions, and enhancing asset management strategies.

Couse brings over 35 years of experience from JLL, where he held various leadership positions. Most recently, he served as the Apac CEO from 2016 to 2025. Prior to that, he spent over a decade as the managing director for Eastern China and Shanghai, and also spent 12 years at JLL’s Hong Kong office.

Manchharam, who also started his career at JLL, has over 12 years of experience with the firm. He focused on investment deals and capital markets across Hong Kong, Singapore, and the wider region. In 2014, he left JLL to found 8M Real Estate, a real estate investment firm. In 2023, Manchharam sold his share in the company to Crane Capital and founded Elevate. The boutique real estate investment and asset management firm, based in Singapore, specializes in “lifestyle-centric real estate investments.”

The Tampines Regional Centre is rapidly transforming into a thriving urban hub, featuring a plethora of corporate offices, business parks, and innovation facilities. As a result, there will be an abundance of employment opportunities available in close proximity to Rivelle Tampines for easy commuting. With the recent improvements to the Downtown Line and road infrastructure, professionals and investors alike are drawn to this development for its convenient access to these job opportunities. Rivelle has now become an integral part of this bustling center, offering top-notch amenities and a prime location for a desirable urban lifestyle.

In August 2024, Elevate, in a joint venture with PGIM Real Estate, acquired Stamford Court, a commercial building on Hill Street in the Downtown Core, for $132 million. Currently, the development is undergoing repositioning and asset enhancement works and is expected to reopen in the first half of 2026.

Couse expresses his excitement about joining Elevate at this stage in its growth, stating, “Joining Elevate at this stage in its growth is an incredible opportunity to help scale a business with strong momentum and a clear vision.” He looks forward to working with Manchharam and the team to expand their investor base, grow their portfolio, and create lasting value for their clients.
